I work at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Qatar) in the field of industrial development and digital transformation, focusing on regulatory modernization, sustainability frameworks, and the adoption of advanced Industry 4.0 technologies across the manufacturing sector. My role supports the transition toward more innovative, more efficient, and innovation-driven industrial operations that align with Qatar National Vision 2030. Develop detailed designs and plans for food processing plant structures, including foundations, buildings, and infrastructure. Oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Ensure all designs and constructions comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Work closely with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate civil engineering aspects with overall plant design and operations. Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure construction work adheres to design specifications and standards. Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process. Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and compliance with regulations.

Soil Works: Conduct site assessments to determine soil conditions and suitability for construction. Oversee soil testing procedures to evaluate soil composition, strength, and stability. Plan and supervise excavation activities, ensuring proper depth and slope for foundations. Implement soil stabilization techniques to enhance soil strength and prevent erosion. Ensure proper preparation of soil for laying foundations, including compaction and grading. Monitor soil work quality to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications. Address any issues related to soil conditions, such as unexpected soil types or groundwater presence. Villas and Multi-Floor Buildings: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for villa and multi-floor building construction. Review architectural and structural designs to ensure feasibility and compliance with regulations. Oversee all construction activities, including framing, roofing, plumbing, electrical, and finishing work. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all construction workers. Conduct regular inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to design specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, reports, and updates to stakeholders. Roads and Sewerage Works: Plan and design road and sewerage systems, ensuring efficient and sustainable infrastructure development. Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards. Supervise the construction of roads, including grading, paving, and drainage systems. Oversee the installation of sewerage systems, including pipelines, manholes, and treatment facilities. Ensure that all road and sewerage works meet quality standards and project specifications.

Structural design and supervision of buildings constructions: Creating detailed plans and specifications for the structural elements, ensuring they meet safety, performance, and regulatory requirements. Using engineering principles and software to analyze the forces and stresses on structural elements to ensure they can withstand loads. Choosing appropriate materials (e.g., concrete, steel, timber) based on the design requirements and environmental conditions. Building the structural elements according to the design plans, including excavation, formwork, reinforcement, pouring concrete, and assembling steel structures. Conducting inspections and tests to ensure the structural elements are constructed correctly and meet quality standards. Performing regular maintenance and repairs to ensure the structural integrity and longevity of the building.
