We are solving the California housing shortage. We have helped originate and pass a dozen housing production bills in the California legislature that have legalized missing-middle housing state-wide including ADUs, lot-splits, and duplexes, and driven accountability for scofflaw cities.

I co-founded this agency with the two smartest and hardest working people I had ever met. We had no business plan other than "lets work together". Later, we bootstrapped Mission Bicycle and Pantheon from the agency's profits. It turned into a multi-disciplinary digital marketing company based in San Francisco. Clients include Twitter, Pinterest, AdRoll, UC Berkeley, UCSF, Stanford, 7x7 Magazine, UBM, Habitat for Humanity, and the United Nations.

Understand U.S. COVID Risk Levels for 3,000+ counties and 50 states. Built in partnership with Georgetown University Center for Global Health Science and Security, Stanford University Clinical Excellence Research Center, and Harvard Global Health Institute.

Open-source website software for the non-profit and advocacy sector. Built it to a few thousand customers, but I couldn't convince foundations to support our work. In retrospect, I had the wrong business model. Learned a ton.

I worked on the digital team for the 2004 Howard Dean Presidential campaign. We helped invent and launch the modern, Internet-centric approach to U.S. politics. In retrospect, this was the single luckiest place for me to be in the world at this moment in time for my career. I ran an open-source project staffed by volunteers who created and managed the software that powered the state and local campaigns.
