As the membership coordinator for the Network, it is my role to induct all new members, keep books for how all of our members are progressing through their own careers and act as the first point of contact at events for anyone who wishes to find out more about our work at BHSN!

• Ideated and developed a ‘Project’ feature on the Movemeback web page that launches in November 2020 aiming to involve 500 million African people in the global opportunity marketplace over the next 15 years. • Led market research on gamified assessments and psychometric data manipulation then presented findings with solutions to the Movemeback founders. • Communicated product ideations with software engineers to create an accurate representation of the product vision.

During my tenure, I've organized a new school event named 'Tastes of the World' which fundraised over £4000 for my school and shall be continued in years to come. I've been able to supervise and support the development of the 'Breakfast Club' which is a system to pair sixth form mentors with students in lower years who're struggling in lessons for various reasons and providing a comfortable environment for dialogue and support

I worked on the GridforGood: Step into National Grid scheme to learn more about the energy industry and the push for electrification in the UK. I attended a number of workshops including a Challenge day where I led a team of 4 in developing an Electric Vehicle (EV) transport strategy and pitched the idea to industry experts. As of July 2020 I’m working with a mentor at National Grid working to improve my CV skills and forming greater industry connections.

I attended a summer school undertaking research into the nuclear physics within radioactive substances by mapping the decay patterns of Uranium isotopes. During the summer school, we also visited EDF’s nuclear power station in Heysham to understand more about; the engineering and maintenance of nuclear reactors, expenses involved with running the plant and environmental factors that needed to be monitored.

I worked on an analysis project concerning the track material used in Dyson’s revolutionary autonomous vacuum cleaner. I had to test different materials and their functionality on various surfaces and provide a detailed reasoning on which material was better for the company to use taking into account cost differences between the materials.

Recipient of the Kingsbury Scholarship (Full Academic Scholarship) - awarded to one student across all of the Engineering Departments of Imperial College London each year. Grade Average: First Class Honours
