Biggest Challenge: I work in the squad responsible for developing and maintaining the bank's app home screen. One of my biggest challenges was building the app configuration platform—an internal tool that allows real-time updates to the home screen without directly modifying the database. This solution enables home customization, segmentation for different user profiles, and personalized user journeys, all powered by a dynamic JSON-based structure. Responsibilities: Develop backend solutions to ensure the home screen remains dynamic and highly customizable. Work on the orchestrator and integrate multiple microservices to maintain an efficient data flow. Design and maintain the internal platform that allows real-time updates to the home screen without direct database changes, leveraging a JSON-based configuration. Ensure the home screen remains functional, scalable, and adaptable to user needs. Document APIs using Swagger, providing clear and well-structured definitions. Implement ConfigCat for feature flag management, enabling controlled rollouts and real-time updates. Monitor system performance and stability with Dynatrace, ensuring smooth and continuous operation.

Stack: Java, Spring Boot, ArtemisMQ ,Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Native Query (JPQL) Biggest Challenge: The biggest challenge was implementing a real-time hot reload system for the "smart Excel" feature. Since multiple squads relied on this data, I contributed to designing a solution using ArtemisMQ, ensuring instant updates across all necessary applications without compromising system stability. Responsibilities: Developed and maintained Java microservices using Spring Boot to support the company's "intelligent Excel" platform. Ensured seamless integration between services by implementing an event-driven architecture with ArtemisMQ. Created and managed test environments using Kubernetes and Jenkins. Optimized database queries with Native Query (JPQL) to enhance performance and do complex queries.

Stack: Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Git, Jenkins, JSF, JSP Biggest Challenge: The main challenge was handling the massive amount of shipping data while ensuring fast query performance. To modernize the platform, we had to rebuild the backend while keeping the existing front-end unchanged. This required working with legacy code and transitioning to a more scalable and maintainable Spring-based system. Responsibilities: Worked on the core shipping platform responsible for processing and tracking shipments for FedEx customers. Developed and optimized backend queries to handle large volumes of shipping data efficiently. Participated in the migration of a legacy system to a modern Spring-based architecture while maintaining front-end compatibility. Ensured seamless integration with existing systems without disrupting user experience.

Stack: Kotlin, Spring Boot, JUnit, Mockito, AWS Lambda Biggest Challenge: The biggest challenge was integrating the shopping cart with all the existing APIs, ensuring it could handle all types of products, including air miles and airline tickets. Since the cart needed to support both the purchase and sale of miles, integrating with the various already-implemented systems, each with different business rules, was a complex task. Responsibilities: Developed and updated the shopping cart to handle various products like airline tickets and air miles using Kotlin and Spring Boot. Integrated the cart with other platform APIs to ensure all products were correctly processed. Worked on the checkout flow, managing different business logics for the purchase and sale of miles, ensuring smooth transactions.

Stack: Java, Spring/Spark, PostgreSQL, Docker, Datadog, JAX-RS, JPA, JDBC, JEE Biggest Challenge: One of my main challenges was integrating Docker and Datadog into all the back-end applications of the company that were not yet prepared for these tools. I was responsible for adding and configuring these integrations in all applications, ensuring that all systems were properly monitored and containerized. Additionally, I worked on all the company's microservices, handling several back-end applications, which provided me with a deep understanding of the business logic.
