• Monitor, analyze, and audit rehabilitation process quality according to Strategy and Plans. • Report rehabilitation performance comprehensively to internal, external, and regulatory bodies. • Coordinate with Conservation Agriculture Consultant to ensure proper activity implementation. • Evaluate soil quality reports and collaborate with certified laboratories as needed. • Organize technical and legal requirements for land handover process in advance. • Monitor post-handover activities, addressing residual risks and ensuring land sustainability. • Report non-conformances in rehabilitation process and propose corrective actions. • Liaise with third-party assessors for final evaluation of rehabilitated land. • Ensure thorough discussion and attachment of third-party assessment results to MoU. • Implement on-site recycling, pollution reduction, and prevention schemes.

• Enforce the implementation of the Environment Management Plan (EMP). • Provide support to the Environment Site Officers (ESO) by means of regular site visits (preferably weekly) during the period of construction. • Assist the ESO to formulate the most effective and structured monitoring and reporting strategy, tailored to the conditions of the contract. • Assist the ESO to prepare the monthly monitoring reports. • Report to and discuss with the EPCM Site Manager any significant noncompliance by the Construction Contractor and the steps to be taken to rectify this.

• Enforce the implementation of the EMP; • Inquire about the specificities and sensibilities of the habitat and prevailing conditions in the work areas; • Ensure knowledge of the environmental management plan and control the implementation of the recommendations contained in the EIA report; • Notify SPME and sub-contracted companies of any abnormality occurred, namely regarding cases of erosion, pollution, conflicts with communities, or any deviation in the implementation of the principles established in the EMP; • Prepare weekly reports on the application of the recommendations and mitigation measures.

Compiling work plan, project schedules and staffing. • Enforce the implementation of the Environment Management Plan (EMP) Ensure good functional and operational knowledge of HSE standards and procedures. • Compilation of Project HSE files for submission and client approval. • Ensure the formal capturing of audit findings; audit close outs; site feedback. • Compilation of auditing reports and findings- ensuring close out of items for which WorleyParsons (WP) is responsible for, and monitoring contractors for close out of non-conformances they are responsible for. • Investigation of Accidents and Incidents according to standards and procedures. • Project HSE Risk Assessments as per WP requirements. • Capturing and close outs of Accidents / Incidents events onto the organization system. • Assisting contractors with the preparation of their project HSE files – represent first level of signature for HSE file. • Ensuring project HSE on site is up to WP and Sasol standards.

MECHEM, Inhambane, Inhassoro - Temane (Mozambique) Mozambique Gas to Power Plant (MGtP) at Temane area, Sasol Technology (Pty) Ltd on Behalf of jointly of Sasol New Energy Holdings (Pty) Ltd and Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM) Worked in the Mozambique Gas to Power Plant (MGtP) at Temane area in the following areas: ▪ Bush clearing and De-mining from Temane SPT to Pambara district in a 25 Km distance; ▪ Identified fatal flaws from an environmental perspective; ▪ Implemented stipulated requirements in the Environmental Management Plan for the project (EMP). ▪ Identified important species enclosed in the Environmental Management Plan (EMP); ▪ Ensured compliance with mitigation measures stipulated in the EMP; ▪ Liaised with local communities on matters that might have affected them; ▪ Identification of sites with a significant cultural inheritance, graves and sacred sites; ▪ Communication of any transgressions of Sasol Environmental Specialists in the communities; ▪ Conducted Environmental Awareness Training in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the EMP; ▪ Conducted waste management and handling of fuels training on site/campsite; ▪ Conducted environmental toolbox talk on site/campsite; ▪ Installation and organization of campsite; ▪ Elaboration of site/campsite procedures or methods and statements; ▪ Rehabilitation of camp site; ▪ Ensured that all environmental aspects set out in EMP were compiled; ▪ Ensured that all SASOL standards were complied.

• Participated in three Environmental Impact Assessment Report such as: o Rehabilitation and Expansion of Graphite Mine Ancuabe 4C License in Cabo Delgado Province; assisted in the drafting of EIA Chapters, such as: Legal Framework, Biophysics Project Area and elaborated Maps for the Project Area based on the program Geographic Information System (GIS. 10). o Graphite Mine in Nipákue, Chiúre District -Cabo Delgado Province; assisted and participated in the drafting of EIA Chapters, such as: Legal Framework, Biophysics Project Area and elaborated Maps for the Project Area based on the program Geographic Information System (GIS. 10). o Exploration of Coal Mine in Kokwe, Moatize District - Tete Province; assisted and participated in the drafting of the EIA Chapters, such as: Legal Framework, Biophysics Project Area and elaborated Maps for the Project Area based on the program Geographic Information System (GIS.10).
