Yasemin Kalkan

Hi there! I am an Australian national level topper with a professional background in client partnerships, ESGs, project management and advocacy in the NGO sector, as well as in customer service in the hospitality industry. My personal background spans social media marketing, public speaking and administration. I have spent the last 17 months on a gap year in Dubai networking with the legal community, exploring new opportunities in the legal, diplomatic, and international relations field, honing my interpersonal and intercultural communication skills, and genuinely enjoying engaging with community. In September, I will begin an LLB (Honours) Law with International Relations at Middlesex University Dubai, and I am keen to develop my legal skills and build a background in both the theoretical and practical application of the law, in cross-border disputes, and in affecting social change, all while broadening my knowledge on the interconnection between economics, politics, and security in international and legal affairs.
