I support the team in various research projects, develop and optimize experimental methods, and contribute to the execution of lab tests and analyses. Working in a start-up environment requires a high level of flexibility and rapid learning, as I continuously immerse myself in new scientific topics and technologies.

As part of my master’s thesis, I extensively studied protein misfolding and its connection to neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson’s disease. The goal of my work was to detect misfolded alpha-synuclein in body fluids to identify potential diagnostic markers for the disease. During this research, I gained experience with the RT-QuIC assay, as well as protein production and purification.

During my time at Novo Nordisk, I gained valuable insights into the pharmaceutical industry and project management. I contributed to the development of an educational platform for medical professionals and was involved in organizing and managing seminars and events.
