Executive leader of global drug development with more than 10 year experience as a senior global clinical development head in designing and executing large global studies. Being a corporate executive leader responsible for more than 100 programs of 6 different therapeutic areas with more than 13 line functions of 700+ associates. Trained as a cardiologist and was tenured Professor from Baylor College of Medicine with more than 200 publications in peer reviewed journals before joining the industry. Have established experience in drug development strategy, organizational operating models, portfolio strategy, IND and NDA experience in multiple HAs including FDA, EMA, PMDA, NMPA, etc. Also very knowledgeable in molecular and cell biology, population genetics, am a passionate and a seasoned people leader with more than 20 years experience in cardiovascular medicine.
