• Evaluate the manpower requirements to meet daily business demands and prepare weekly work schedules, adhering to budget goals. • Handle all disciplinary issues when needed. • Train and impart security colleagues with knowledge of hotel services, features, and amenities. • Assign specific tasks to the staff as they arise. • Monitor and ensure that Security colleagues fully perform their job functions. • Conduct ongoing training with existing staff & ensure new staffs are certified as required. • Accommodate all guest requests in an accurate and efficient manner. • Maintain cleanliness of department & ensure equipments and supplies in good working condition. • Prepare work orders for equipment repairs and follow up with Engineering department. • Ensure that all pertinent information is documented in the logbook daily. • Ensure payroll forecasts are submitted accurately and promptly. • Conduct performance appraisals of designated colleagues as required. • Complete required training/certification processes for Security colleagues. • Be responsible for all administrative tasks within the Department. • Ensure the smooth operation within Security Office. • Provide daily security feedback reports. • Prepare monthly reports for General Manager. • Prepare monthly expense reports for Director, Finance. • Order and control stationary and other equipment in Security Office. • Compile timesheets and calculate overtime, keeping track of off-in-lieu days. • Ensure all notices are displayed. • Prepare monthly reports for General Manager. • Prepare monthly expense reports for Director, Finance. • Review and amend all Incident reports created before dissemination to other departments

• Take charge of Security Team in the absence of the Director of Security • Scheduling of monthly roster for a team of 13 security team members • Security Department certified trainer (Plan and conduct all monthly training for all security team members) • Conduct Safety and Security training for the rest of the hotel’s departments (e,g. Fire Warden training, Emergency Response Team, Fire Drills, Fire fighting training etc) • Conduct investigation and record statements from hotel’s employee shall an event of crime happen within the hotel premise. • Concluding investigation and brief management of the findings. • Plan and revise the Standard Operation Procedures for the Security department. • Assist Director of Security to prepare Risk Management Meetings and Security audits.
