procurement engineer responsible for overseeing the procurement activities for all plant needs, services, and project materials. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage procurement for factories, develop and implement cost-effective strategies, conduct market research, collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor supplier performance, implement inventory management systems and analyze data to track procurement KPIs and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Resbinsibilies and Tasks: • Responsible for managing procurement activities for the poultry project and services division, including sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and equipment. • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency while maintaining quality standards. • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, evaluate their performance, and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, engineering, and operations, to ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and objectives. • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a reliable and consistent supply of materials and equipment. • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize inventory costs. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements related to procurement activities. • Manage the procurement budget and provide regular reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.

• Handling Steel Coil, Raw Material for Plastic plants, and Pallets for All Plant, Resale, and Development. • Negotiation with vendors for payment terms and contract conditions to meet aggressive production and cost requirements. • Evaluated and reviewed procurement documents and participated in facility inspections. • Maintaining & Analysis of weekly stock management & follow up with production. • In-depth knowledge of the Opening of LC and subsequent follow-ups with Commercial Banks. • In-depth knowledge of SAP’s MM-Module and Inbound Logistics Module. • Appointing freight forwarders and negotiating shipping terms with shipping lines. • Constantly looking for ways to lower costs and improve inventory management.
