Lead developer in migrating for legacy ERP to Oracle EBS

Primary developer for all customizations to support the business. Worked with business leaders to understand requirements, architected and implemented sound bug-free solutions. Fully documented the solution for support/future reference. Stream-lined to buyers’ work-load by implementing Sourcing Rules and Quoting. Due to the number of products purchased it was difficult for them to see what sourcing rules and quotes were setup and active. Developed item-level reporting show current sourcing rules and open quotes. Developed inbound and outbound interfaces to legacy systems for new item creation, AR invoicing, customers, tax certificates and suppliers. Primary support resource for the company. Responsible for day-to-day operational support and identifying opportunities to improve the application and avoid future customer issues.

* Accountable for all testing and approvals for moving source code into production. * Implemented Q/A tool called Practitest, which decreased the number of new issues introduced into production by 50% * Decentralized the Q/A team and trained each application team on the use of Practitest, eliminating backlogs and reducing yearly spend on a Q/A team by $250k

Led a team of functional and technical resources for an Oracle 11.5.9 EBS application including: resource management, functional and technical priorities, backups, disaster recovery, performance and incident resolution. Managed the application budget resulting in a 15% decrease in costs by removing 3rd party applications and replacing with custom or free solutions Engaged and interviewed resources to support functional/technical requirements of the application ensuring the proper resources were available to effectively work on priorities Delivered on B2B requirements utilizing EDI and internet based portals required for commerce and accounting allowing for a reduction of force in the Accounts Payable department and saving $80k
