I have collaborated to the execution of the compliance plan, in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation, within the company's Corporate Office in Toronto, ON, for manual, automated and IT controls (approximately 100 controls). The plan included the documentation of business processes, definition and evaluation of key controls, and the preparation of various results reports. I have participated in 2 specific internal audit processes in business units (in Mexico and Brazil). During this period, I have also provided support to compliance activities from other business units (in Argentina, Brazil and Chile), particularly in the preparation of reports. I have prepared reports to top management concerning tests results for Sarbanes-Oxley, audits, and recommendations for change in operational and financial activities. I was the first employee in the company to be expatriated to the Canadian Corporate Office.

I have collaborated, in the Internal Controls team, with the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance plan for the business units and regional corporate office in Brazil, for both manual and automated controls (approximately 400 controls). I have developed an economic feasibility model for a mine construction project, working directly with other departments in the company to obtain information and support. I have developed a project analyzing the relevance of different variables in the evolution of gold prices, using statistical tools and qualitative research, as part of the trainee program.

I have assisted in the coordination of research assistants in the collection, organization and analysis of data about Brazilian foreign trade flows and industrial production. I have collaborated with the publication of a quarterly newsletter (‘Boletim NEIT’) about the evolution of industrial activity and foreign trade in Brazil and other countries. I have also assisted in a study about the competitiveness of the Brazilian tourism sector, carried out for the Ministry of Tourism, collecting and organizing databases and information. I have collected and analyzed data on the Brazilian foreign trade and industrial production, using statistical tools as SPSS.

Modelling data production about trans, travestis, non binary and non-Western gender identities: Decolonial perspectives on labor, life expectancy and health.

Dissertation Title: For decolonial inflections of nonconforming bodies and gender identities: an autoethnographic analysis of cisgenderness as normativity Abstract: The purposes of this research are to (1) substantiate and characterize the analytical categories of cisgenderness and cisnormativity, suggesting that they are relevant for political, academic, existential reflections about bodily and gender identity diversities, as well as to weave autoethnographic considerations traversed by the autoethnographer’s specific positions, limitations, and intellectual potencies on (2) the institutional and non-institutional cisnormative power dispositifs which exercise colonialities over such diversities, as well as (3) the possibilities of resistance and confrontation against these intersectionally constituted power cistems.

Undergraduate thesis/Research Project (Jul 04 – Jul 05) Title: The Chinese commercial and productive insertion in the world economy in the recent period. Description: The study undertaken examined Chinese economic performance during the recent years, from the late 1990's to 2003. Focus was placed on examining and understanding China's external trade standard and its FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) flows, analyzing the impact of public policies on them. Teaching Assistant (Jul 03 – Dec 03) Course: Microeconomics Responsibilities: - Lead discussion sections and tutorials; - Schedule regular office hours to meet with students and assist them with questions and problems.
