Co-founded the Law, Environment & Animals Program (LEAP) at Yale Law School, a multidisciplinary program focused on developing legal and political strategies to address industrial animal exploitation and its impacts on animals, people, and the planet. New Crop Capital (Unovis Asset Management) is a privately-held venture capital fund that specializes in investing in early-stage food technology companies developing plant-based and culture-based meat, egg, and dairy alternatives. Worked with the firm’s chief investment officer and managing partner on strategy, deal flow, new investments, and operations.

First Round Capital is one of the top seed-stage venture capital funds in the world. As partner operations manager for Chris Fralic, I worked across all functions of the partnership at First Round, including reviewing and tracking new investment opportunities, managing relationships and communication within the First Round community and partner networks, conducting research and investment diligence, and contributing to special projects.

Dorm Room Fund is a pre-seed venture capital fund backed by First Round Capital that invests in student-run companies. Introduced Dorm Room Fund to Yale campus and led investments as a member of the fund’s New York City investment team.

Received full merit scholarships. Researched pressing global challenges related to climate change, agriculture, biodiversity, and corporate accountability.

Yale Center for Business & the Environment (CBEY) 2050 Fellow

Courses included: Green Engineering & Sustainable Design; Mitigating Agriculture’s Environmental Impacts; Urbanization, Food Systems, and the Environment; Urbanization and the Environment in China and India; History of Science and Technology in the U.S.; Multivariable Calculus for Engineers; Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations. Wrote senior thesis on the history, science, market, and projected environmental impacts of emerging plant-based egg alternatives.
