➢ Architecting and designing imaging systems, including camera and illumination selection. ➢ Conducting R&D to identify suitable camera, lens, and illumination setups for specific machine vision applications. ➢ Documenting R&D results comprehensively. ➢ Working with various camera types such as Line scan and Area scan, including brands like Basler, Teledyne Dalsa, Chromasens, Teledyne e2V, iDs, and AVT. ➢ Calibrating the camera-light setup including Focus, Depth-of field, WB, FFC & Color correction. ➢ Familiarity with frame grabbers like Basler, Dalsa, and Bitflow for high-speed imaging. ➢ Understanding user requirements and selecting appropriate components for the imaging pipeline. ➢ Creating BOMs and schematics. ➢ Setting up test environments using imaging devices as needed. ➢ Collaborating with mechanical team on the design reviews of the structures, imaging box, light mechanicals design etc. ➢ Collaborating with production teams to ensure timely project delivery.
