- Worked on processing 180M+ records of financial big data to identify patterns of money laundering. - Built a backend RESTful API and a data pipeline to perform quick entity resolution. - Optimized code to ingest data in hours instead of days, reducing time by 38%. - Tech stack included Golang, AWS, Hadoop, MongoDB and Bash scripting.

Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Computer Programming (Monsoon 2019) by Dr. Debayan Gupta. My responsibilities include - Design assignments that the students would be solving - Conduct discussion sessions to explain further the concepts taught in class - Grade submissions of students enrolled

Working as a Machine Learning Intern over the summer at Lucideus under the mentorship of Professor Debayan Gupta and Nipun Jaswal. My job entailed - Working with the malware forensics team to create a preemptive solution against zero day exploits. - Solution detected over 98% of attacks before it took place. - Used Machine Learning to analyse system API calls to create a model. TensorFlow and CNTK were used. C++ and C# were used to create the API call logging daemon. - Used Cuckoo Malware Sandbox to automate malware analysis using a REST API and a Flask Python server. Helped save time and resources. - The solution is expected to be combined with their Enterprise-grade security software, SAFE. The solution is also being made open-source.

Worked as a Research Intern over the summer. My responsibilities included - Worked as a research analyst that had to find economic viability of new startup ideas. Used SKLearn and Tensorflow to design models. - Finding the economic viability of ideas given each week through research and basic ML. - Few ideas were funded for deployment. - Work included ideation pitches and business meetings with investors. - One idea currently deployed is GoGoAd.

Worked with this NGO for distributing books and creating libraries among schools lo- cated in poor neighbourhoods and towns. Managed the Facebook page of the NGO.

Created lesson plans for students by going through different education boards. Part of the team that designed the front end. Worked over the internet.

Minor in International Relations
