Vasu Kothamasu

With over 25 years of engineering and cloud integration expertise, I'm passionate about building high-performance internationally distributed teams developing innovative enterprise-scale products. I started my career as a Project Engineer at ArvinMeritor and Software Engineer at i2 Technologies, working on supply chain planning and solving complex logistics optimization for customers. In 2005, I joined webMethods (acquired by German software company Software AG) as an Engineering Manager. Over the next 18 years, I took up multiple leadership roles and led diverse engineering teams working on webMethods.io iPaaS, API Management, and leading the Cloud transformation journey for Software AG. During my tenure as part of the Senior Management team, I also aided the company's India R&D labs in adopting avant-garde methodologies. Currently, I lead the engineering teams at Contentstack, innovating and bringing the best of customer experience platforms as the company's General Manager. As a tech trend-spotter, I'm passionate about driving innovation in large-scale software product development, integration tech, and SaaS. I'm proud to have several significant patents to my name and to have been published in prominent journals. Being a seasoned professional, I have identified, mentored, and nurtured multiple talents throughout my career, empathetically paving the career growth path for numerous engineers, managers, and senior leaders. In addition to technology and innovation, I champion lean and agile principles and strongly believe in value creation for customers. I'm an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur, and The Ohio State University.
