[K-pop Talent Agency System in S.Korea Research Project] This case study was about the training system of the entertainment industry in S.Korea, in other words, the production of K-POP. We researched the structural organisation of the agency’s system throughout the idol’s career path, from auditioning , training, managing, marketing and debuting. My Responsibilities: - Documented and photographing the interviews, as well as gathering information on each entertainment company. - Conducted field interviews with the major talent agencies in South Korea to understand K-pop idol’s career development and innovation in their talent nurturing systems.

[Setouchi Art Festival for Urban Rejuvenation Research Project] The Setouchi Triennale is an art festival spanning 12 islands and two ports in the Seto Inland Sea. This case study highlights the regional revitalization following challenges from pollution, an aging demographic, and youth migration. Revitalization efforts included collaborating with artists and architects like Kusama Yayoi and Ando Tadao, hosting regular art festivals to encourage tourism, and partnering with local communities for island renovations. My Responsibilities: - Conducted field studies on the regional revitalization of Seto Inland Sea, facilitating interviews with foreign correspondents from TVBS, a major television station in Taiwan, and performing secondary research on Japanese designers involved in the urban rejuvenation project.
