Chief Financial Officer
Senior Financial Executive (Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer) with full responsibility for the strategic planning, development and leadership of the entire corporate finance organization for this $600 million transportation products manufacturer that emerged from Chapter 11 in January of 2006. Assisted CEO in avoiding a financial crisis by generating cash, reducing debt and renegotiating credit agreement. Partnered with senior management to develop an operations rationalization plan involving elimination of unprofitable products and customers, and closures of high cost plants. Financial scope of responsibility includes general accounting, budgeting, treasury, investor relations, cash management, commodity risk management, internal/external reporting, tax, internal audit and contract negotiations.

Corporate Controller
Transferred from GDX Automotive to Blue Bird by request of Cerberus Capital Management to straighten out the financial aspect of Blue Bird that had not generated sufficient financial information since September of 2006. Overall authority for the financial operation of the organization, budget preparation and administration, audit, taxation, accounting, monthly closing of books of record, account reconciliations, and journal entry adjustments. Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports summarizing and forecasting company business activities and financial position in areas of EBITDA, income, expenses, cash flow, net debt and earning based on past, present, and expected operations. Develops financial statements, analyzes business trends and daily operating cost. Chairs the pension committee for a +$100 million defined benefit obligation as well as financial oversight for Company’s 401k plan. Supervises, leads, and supports staff of 34.

Plant Controller
• Recruited on behalf of Cerberus Capital Management to turnaround the largest plant (Wabash) in the GDX portfolio. Responsible for consolidating several non-performing facilities into the Wabash facility and provide financial support to actively reduce total manufacturing cost. Worked closely with labor unions on concessions and cost cutting initiatives to improve profitability and cash flow.

Controller/CFO
Promoted from SAP Analyst to Chief Financial Officer of two Greenfield investments in Smyrna, TN to support Nissan’s largest manufacturing facility in the United States. Total capital investment of $125 million to develop the two brand new facilities. Responsible for financial oversight of the building and facilitization of the new facilities. In less than 2 years the total consolidated revenue was +$800 million with an adjusted EBITDA of $61 million. Implemented SOX and new ERP (SAP) system during the first 12 months of launch. Structured and negotiated credit agreement to support cash flow needs of the new joint venture. Hired all accounting/financing personnel to support operations.

SAP Financial Analyst
Recruited as Visteon’s (Fortune 100) first SAP finance employee to assist with the development and implementation of new ERP system (SAP) to replace Ford Motor Company’s legacy system. Review financial statements and analyze sales revenues, costs, expenses, and tax rates for all business units of leading automotive supply company. Developed detailed spreadsheets to identify trends and develop forecasts. Consolidate and analyze monthly results and budgets. Create and deliver presentations, providing recommendations on short- and long-range ROI.
