* Developed a Pan-Tilt camera system having Pelco-D and proprietary serial network communications. * Designed the controller hardware, routed the PCB, soldered, and tested at the PCB and system levels. * Developed the C firmware in AVR Studio and tested with the client and end customer.

* Worked in 3 to 6 month rotations in a variety job functions and segments of the organization: Electronics Research, Marine/Engine Electronics and Factory, OEM Transmissions, and On-Highway Truck Systems. * Job functions included system specification and validation, clutch control testing and development, programming, and engine factory support.

Developed automated test device firmware in the C programming language for the Clinical Information Center, as well as modified and troubleshot the test device hardware.

* Designed a gate-driver board to switch parallel IGBTs, completed extensive testing, including two-pulse testing to optimize for losses, as well as demonstrated better than expected current sharing results under operating conditions. * Improved and maintained designs for various other PCBs within the 3-phase inverter for signal interfacing, voltage monitoring, and current sensing. * Designed and tested a comprehensive controller for a 100 kW DC/DC converter. Assisted in overall converter design, prototyping, and testing. * Worked regularly with the PCB layout and packaging teams, providing critical input, and reviewing designs.

Lead the electronics development for hybrid and electric vehicle inverters for various platforms.
