I have been a volunteer at Brockwell Junior School, working one day a week, carrying out IT consultancy work - taking care of their ICT and developing and updating their website. I have also assisted teaching in ICT sessions, demonstrating to pupils how to use software such as Microsoft Packages, Textease and Paint for school work.

I have previously worked one day a week at ECA (Energy Cost Advisors), carrying out general office and administration duties. The skills I acquired include scanning, filing, faxing, updating records and inputting data.

I have worked at Sheffield Hallam University as a Support Worker, supporting a caseload of students on the Autistic Spectrum, holding weekly one to one meetings assisting them with orientating themselves on campus, their transition into the university experience and giving them advice on making use of their learning contract and resources. In addition, I have also participated in Student Experience videos, focus groups and presented my student experiences and types of university support to prospective students at Autistic Spectrum in Higher Education events.

I have worked at Cornerstones Education in a period of over six months, carrying out IT consultancy work experience - creating and developing a customer management database to make liaising with customers more rapid. I have also been supporting the company with office duties and developing and updating the Cornerstones Curriculum, which is currently used as a national product. I have also presented them with prototypes for design ideas towards setting up a new VIP Lounge site.

Carrying out temporary work designing and developing a Health Practitioners information system as a paperless solution, using technologies such as Access and SQL.

I have previously completed a weeks work placement with The Yorkshire Bank at Hunters Bar, Sheffield, where I built my self confidence communicating with staff and customers and also carrying out clerical/administration duties.

Worked as a publicity officer for the SHU Canoe Club, supporting advertisements of the club using social media and developing/publishing materials. I have also been involved with designing, developing, maintaining and updating the SHU Canoe website.
