I design and own correctness-critical, performance-sensitive systems with explicit architectural invariants that scale, evolve, and endure, grounded in PhD training in high-performance computing. Over two decades, I have architected and delivered core platforms spanning concurrent editing, GPU-accelerated rendering, and distributed runtimes, with direct ownership of cross-platform consistency and long-term system evolution. My work underpins flagship products used by millions of designers. At Adobe, I serve as a Senior Principal Scientist and principal architect for Illustrator platforms — acting as the founding architect for Illustrator on Web and iPad, and leading the architectural evolution of Illustrator Desktop toward multi-process and multi-core execution. I also build long-lived shared platform libraries with fail-safe multi-process execution guarantees reused across products such as Adobe InDesign. I contribute peer-reviewed work in SIGGRAPH, Eurographics, and IEEE systems venues and am an inventor on 47 patents, bringing research-grade rigor to large-scale production software.
