You can find our most recent feature in Architectural Digest. • Develop space planning documentation, schematic design, conceptual design, and construction documentation for 10 high-end projects. • Collaborate personally with local designers, craftsmen, and manufacturers to create final shop drawings for custom furniture pieces. • Propose all purchasing orders from quotes and create invoices for all purchased products directed to clients. • Spearhead contact with fabricators and furniture manufacturers to review mockups and ensure craftsmanship of product.

Primarily focused on a residential project under the architect, Dennis McGuire. Took hand drawn plan, section, and elevation drawings and converted them onto AutoCAD for construction and structural purposes. Continued developing plans and sections with structural elements and accurate dimensions for construction. Created a three dimensional structure along with additional drawings as a visual tool presented with the architect, engineers, and clients.

Reviewed architecture drawings for flaws and mistakes between phase 1 and phase 2 for a large-scale mixed use building. Gained experience interacting with tradesmen while working on construction sites. Finalized material choices and decisions with contractors before and during construction. Commented on design decisions within finalized drawings that were not structurally feasible due to material choice, placement, or detailed design. Worked closely with contractors to map out the fire safety regulations within the entire structure and took measurements to create a drawing that clearly conveys the fire safety path in and out of the building.

Completed design tasks for major projects extending from exterior to interior spaces using AutoCAD and Arris. Created three distinct design options for the interior space of an office building focusing on light fixtures, placement of cubicles, and color schemes for Principal review. Responsible for full project delivery of an interior design project including calling suppliers and getting materials to finalizing the inspiration boards and presenting to the client. Managed the final presentation to the client and explained the detailing of our drawings focusing on purposeful decisions made and the design intent. Measured data focusing on site location, zoning, and traffic conditions at a site analysis visit for the redesign of a hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Edited previous drawings to include updated measurements and placement of electrical and water fixtures.

Assembled educational services on the history and art of the Gardens for Museum visitors. Served as an interpreter of art to give visitors a deeper understanding and appreciation of the artwork.
