Syed is the Utilities Practice Lead and Principal Architect for SAP in the MENA Region and is responsible for SAP's consulting and application services work for clients in the Energy & Utilities industry. Syed has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry spanning Project Management, Consulting, Solution design, Solution Architecture and Business development across Asia, Middle-east, North America and Europe geographies. Syed has served as the SAP Solution Architect / SME for implementing the Smart prepayment solution and the End to End Design Architect for the Smart Program focusing on integration with the DCC, at one of UK’s largest Gas and Electricity suppliers serving over 5 million customers. In his current role, Syed is the Principal Architect and Practice Lead for Utilities serving clients in the MENA/EMEA regions. Syed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bangalore University.
