Led product engineering teams responsible for Benchling's Molecular Biology, Modified Biomolecules & Chemistry products. Shipped mRNA and Chemical Awareness capabilities to 30+ customers. Led build vs buy and open-source vs closed source decisions for technical architecture regarding Search. Introduced a company-wide process that streamlined customer inbounds resulting in 73% faster response time and improved Engineering & CX productivity. Drove several company building efforts such as Engineering Mentorship program (2022 & 2023) and Benchling Hackathon (2022)

Led the Molecular Biology team - a full-stack team built a suite of tools that allows scientists across the world to design, model and analyze Molecular Biology sequences such as DNA, RNA and Amino Acid. Productionized a 0 → 1 hackathon project - AlphaFold integration (ML-driven protein structure prediction for Molecular Biology) with 10% of customers using the product by EoY.

Engineering Manager for the Customer Obsession team owning core product platforms for best-in-class customer care globally across all Uber businesses (Rides, Eats, Freight, Jump etc). Delivered on #3 OKR for the Company to reduce 100bps of operational costs. Our platforms (ingestion pipelines, self-service automation platform, & customer engagement system) automated 45% of support traffic and saved $150M+ in OpEx. Led a global cross-functional working group across Product, Community operations, Data Science & Engineering to focus on personalization, customer engagement and omni-channel interactions. Drove several talent management efforts such as revamping Uber's Bar Raiser program, mentoring under-represented engineers via Hidden Genius Program and Built By Girls.

Architected and scaled the Uber's Support Automation platform that handled automatic resolution of millions of support tickets from Uber's users world-wide. Built a real-time fraud detection system that blocks ~40k weekly potential fraud attempts in partnership with the ML Risk team @ Uber. Turned around the team's operational maturity by introducing weekly Ops Review across the org, implementing tighter SLAs, and improving the overall system reliability and support responsiveness. Organized bootcamps to accelerate onboarding of 17 new hires into our team. Recruited & hired talent for the company acting as a bar-raiser & interviewer.

Drove the first iteration of Gigjam (Microsoft's AI-driven collaboration platform) - from UI/UX, API layer, suite of micro-services, to Azure Storage (Tables, Blobs & Queues). Launched several features, including document editing primitives and internationalization support for Microsoft Access. Presented at TechReady, Microsoft's annual developer conference. Built accessibility features for Windows 8 to help color vision deficiency users. Built during a hackathon and incorporated into the product.
