• Preparing and submitting NHS application to appear on NHS England pharmacy register • Organising pharmacy premises to ensure suitable standards were met in order to be approved by the GPhC • Answering queries from doctors and other healthcare professionals on pharmacokinetics, stability and drug interactions of certain prescription medication by referring to various literature such as SPC’s, PIL’s and the BNF • Designing, developing and ensuring legality of marketing material including the pharmacy website, pharmacy promotional material and developing a social media presence • Ensuring compliance with annual Information Governance toolkit as IG lead • Taking responsibility of ensuring pharmacy is compliant with Clinical Governance and informing superintendent pharmacist on updates as CG lead • Creating and maintaining compliance with SOP’s • Pioneering projects to provide offsite flu jabs in various locations to better reach vulnerable and eligible members of NHS Flu jabs • Developing yearly and 5 yearly business plans to present to directors • Negotiating with pharmacy and NHS stakeholders to further develop key pharmacy services • Forming and developing international leads with the aim of developing an international wholesale trade partner • Enforcing compliance with statutory and legal obligations under relevant legislation for corporate activities
