Exports of Sponge Iron Plant with Kiln & Cooler Cell assembly as break-bulk cargo by three Vessels load in 2010-11 & 2011-12. And numerous shipments in containers, FCL & LCL basis. Procurement of Steel Plates, Structural, Raw materials & spare parts for Iron Ore Pellet Plant, Odisha. Indigenous sourcing and Imports for manufacturing and supplying of heavy Industrial machinery and Equipment, Mineral Process Solutions, Boilers for Power & Process Plants. Consistency in maintaining International quality standards and reliable after sales services. Proficient at developing cost-effective vendors for procuring materials, Spares and Consumables. Cost saving initiatives with planning & implementing changes to technology, machinery, equipment, process methodology, quality assurance, Inventory control system and reporting procedures. Procurement of construction materials as a member of Purchase team for the following jobs: Civil work of the Coal Dust Injection system & Blast Furnace at IISCO, Burnpur, WB. Civil work for Rolling Mill & Reheating Furnaces at IISCO, Burnpur, West Bengal. Raw Material Handling for Continuous Casting Plant at Rourkela Steel Plant, Orissa. Civil work for Thermal Power Plant at RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, AP. Responsible as “Store/Purchase In-charge” for the project Ore Bedding & Bending Plant (OBBP) at Rourkela Steel Plant, Orissa.

Responsible for Purchase of Steel Plates, Industrial Tools and Machinery for manufacturing and supply of railway Bogies and Wagons. Independently handled Export shipments of 228 nos. of Railway Bogies to Sudan. Regular Imports of Railway Wheels from abroad, hundreds of Containers in each consignment. Import of complete Casting Plant with Sand system from Italy. It was dismantled from running condition and Shipped from Italy by chartered Vessel., Handled the entire procedure and cleared as break bulk Imports through Haldia Seaport.

Managed overall Procurement of Food Grains for Exports to south-eastern Countries. Exports of Leather Hand Gloves, after collection from supporting manufacturer’s, it was further processed and final packaged for Exports from Kolkata Port. Exports of Dry Flowers, after processing, coloring and dressing, it was prepared for Exports in Containers.

Imports of Raw Chemicals from Indonesia, Germany and China, for manufacturing and supply of various industrial chemicals as per needs to Govt. and private sectors.
