With over three decades in the exhibition and events industry, I’ve had the privilege of shaping platforms that bring industries, governments, and global communities together. As CEO of India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML), I lead one of India’s largest integrated MICE venues, focused on placing India firmly on the global trade and event map. My journey has spanned organizing, owning, and bidding for international exhibitions — including UP International Trade Show, Bharat Mobility Expo (UMIS), CPHI India, and Printpack. During the entire tenure, I have proven contributions in establishing the business into profit centre that was struggling for last 5 years, implementing process reforms and operational controls, facilitated collaborative tie-ups for enhancing business opportunities and ensured compliance with the regulatory framework. Delivered record breaking revenue growth on a year on year basis consistently by way of effective planning with focus on product, people, processes and technology. Built operational capabilities by leading appreciable initiatives, formulated policies and implemented reform oriented programmes. Influenced business decisions as a key member of the strategic group. Formulated plans for business growth, alliances, key investments, financial projections and brand initiatives for visibility. I have proven contributions towards successfully organizing major events for major clients from diverse industry verticals in India, which received massive footfalls and an excellent response from the event attendees. Drove infrastructure expansion to make India Expo Mart the biggest convention cum exhibition centre in India, several large scale projects are still under pipeline. Have proven success in bidding and winning major events collaboratively along with Government of India at an international level.
