I have a broad range of experience in small business from wholesale to retail as well as on-line sales. I first started Business in Adelaide at age 18 and have been basically self employed ever since . I have sold electronics , clothing , Imported Goods from overseas as well as being one of the first business to sell on Ebay in Australia when it first launched. I have run an onsite computer repair business in the Gold Coast and Adelaide. I am a founding Adelaide Member (22 years) of Bartercard in Australia and am still currently an active member . My current role with Media-V is only the second actual job I have been employed in over a 29 year period in Business in Adelaide ,Goolwa and the Gold Coast . I have certainly seen a lot of changes in small business over that period of time and while some small business in Australia are doing it tough at present , good times will come again , I am already seeing a trend back to customer focused small to medium business .
