Steve Hruby, CFA

Steve is a Director of M&A at TransDigm (NYSE:TDG), where he leads and executes all aspects of the company's merger and acquisition activities, including sourcing, strategic evaluation, due diligence, valuation, and negotiation. Steve joined TransDigm from Boeing, where as a Corporate Development Manager, he similarly led acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and equity investment transactions across Boeing's business units. Steve previously was a Vice President at CW Industrial Partners (CapitalWorks), a lower middle-market private equity buyout fund investing in industrial manufacturing businesses, and he began his career with several financial services consulting roles at Ernst & Young in its Valuation, Modeling & Economics group and Transaction Support (Financial Due Diligence) group; Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler) in its Healthcare Investment Banking group; and PwC in its audit practice. Steve holds both a CFA charter and a CPA (Inactive). He is a graduate of John Carroll University’s Boler School of Business (Summa Cum Laude). He also graduated with his MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College (High Distinction, Edward Tuck Scholar).
