Promoted outreach and the awareness for upcoming events for the organization by tabling on-campus during high-traffic hours. Events include Ally training, Culture-competency training, social events for specific LGBTQ+ communities. Educated students about the on-campus resources for LGBTQ+ students’ safety and promote a welcoming SDSU campus for students of all backgrounds

Selected to participate in the Find-Your-Future forum organized by the global industry leader, BlackRock. I learned about the merging of finance and technology and other trends relating to the future of finance. Also, learned about the wide range of opportunities and the existing supportive culture of working for companies like BlackRock.

• Assisted low-income individuals and families providing tax return assistance that would cost them elsewhere. • Self-trained and certified in an Advanced IRS tax preparation course. • Performed Quality Reviews of other tax preparers work, confirming all data is input correctly in TaxSlayer program.
