I was contracted for a Professional Indemnity project in Gloucester, working for Jardine Lloyd Thompson, who are the 5th largest risks corporation in the world. I was a finance administrator for solicitors' professional indemnity insurance. This involved speaking to law firms and dealing with their renewals/quotes whilst acting as their account manager, as well as updating the underwriters at the head office in London either by phone or on the company’s computer database, heavily involved in correspondence and data-entry. I was my duty to process all the payments, resolve paper application queries and maintain close contact with Close Premium Finance. Very pressured and demanding environment.

Currently working as a contractor in Aylesbury on a short-term day-rate contract, primarily as a Pensions processor for a project 'Opal', duties include processing client application form requests for Tax Free Cash lump sums, and that the client has fully understood the terms and basis of termination, before I then proceed with terminating the policy after internal vetting and searches and finalising the cash payment and ensuring the remaining annuity gets transferred to Canada Life. It is a pressured environment where we work from an online queue and operate 3/4 different systems at any one time, this is heavily regulated and requires great attention and diligence. Audited rigorously to ensure high standards and quality are maintained especially when dealing with sensitive and valuable data.
