Served as a Chief Editor for the King's Think Tank, Europe's biggest student-led think tank. Responsibilities included proofreading submitted essays and improving them to publishable quality, as well as fact checking across fields including international relations, politics, economics, global health, business, marketing, and more.

Oversaw the expansion of Sojo App’s business network by onboarding partners, providing customer care, and producing data analyses for the fashion industry. Acted as co-editor to a Waseda-based book project on the operationalization of hybrid peacebuilding in Asia. Furthermore, I contributed a chapter on the effects of identity on Cambodian monks partaking in the peace process, as well as co-authoring the conclusion chapter.

Contributed to a Waseda-based book project exploring the political and personal construction of historical memory through various institutions by authoring a chapter on memory and identity and the processes of politicisation thereof, demonstrated through the case study of the „comfort women“ issue between South Korea and Japan.

Co-hosted the international workshop and symposium on the international peacebuilding architecture and hybrid peacebuiding in the Asia-Pacific held at Waseda University. Furthermore, I presented my working paper on the effects of identity on Cambodian monks partaking in the peacebuilding process.

Focused on the analysis of the Asia-Pacific region through an interdisciplinary lens merging tools from International Relations, Politics, Governance, History, War Studies, and International Law. I particularly delved into conflict mapping, analysis, and resolution for conflicts of nation-states including but not limited to Japan, South Korea, Cambodia, Rwanda, Germany, Palestine, and issues stemming from war-related crimes and atrocities. Alongside taught modules, I completed independent field research for my thesis regarding the role of identity and narratives in the 'comfort women' issue between Japan and South Korea, and how such factors prevented comprehensive redress outcomes thus far. Additionally, I assessed the APAC region against Hybrid Peacebuilding concepts and international law, and co-authored a book titled: Operationalisation of Hybrid Peacebuilding in Asia: From Theory to Practice (Palgrave Macmillan, 2021)

Commenced a PhD in Political Science and Government, researching the power of identity in international relations and global politics by looking at conflict (Japan-South Korea, Rwandan Genocide, Israel-Palestine, Khmer Rouge's Cambodia, and more) and the contentious memories that serve to reinforce regional, national, and local identities, which through intentional politicisation have become consolidated as powerful political tools. Paused this doctorate programme to pursue other passions and expand my skill set.

Successfully completed a broad spectrum of modules, including archaic, ancient, medieval, early-modern, modern and contemporary history, focusing specifically on military and social history. Increasing focus on the Asia-Pacific region was established as the degree progressed, especially so through my two dissertations completed in the third year. Completed dissertations: 1) The 'Comfort Women' Issue in 1990s Japan and South Korea: Reassessing the Call for Compensation 2) How Crucial was the American Role in Japan's Pacifism Between 1945 and 1960? (submitted through Royal Holloway University of London)

Applied my Global Summer Scholarship awarded by KCL to study at SNU's International Summer Institute. Observed and attained a new perspective of Korean-Japanese relations as well as global geo-politics as a result of my primary module based on Japan's role in Asia. Acquired a conversational level of Korean through intensive language classes alongside focus-specific modules.

Completed two semesters of comprehensive Japanese lessons at the SOAS Language Centre.

Elected to choose an intercollegiate module at RoHo to study further the history of the Cold War in its 'The Clash of Powers and Cultures: Sino-American Relations during the Cold War' course. Connected my second dissertation to this module, producing a dissertation focusing on the complex Japanese-American relations regarding Japan's pacifism and constitutional rejection of war after the Second World War [Titled: How Crucial was the American Role in Japan's Pacifism Between 1945 and 1960?].
