About
I’m drawn to building things from the ground up — and to understanding how everything connects. My career began at the nano scale, in the precise, methodical world of analytical chemistry — the zoomed-in view. Over time, curiosity pulled me from nanopores and nanoparticles toward the zoomed-out picture: the innovation systems and strategic foundations that determine whether great ideas actually reach the world. That shift now drives my work on sustainable food production and addressing global food challenges. Today I work at the intersection of science, industry and regulation, leading a government-funded multi-partner programme to build national infrastructure for responsible commercialisation of emerging technologies. Growing up across five countries has given me a unique cross-cultural lens and interpersonal compass that I bring to every complex stakeholder environment. Collectively, the international experiences have shaped my leadership style - collaborative, creative and one that is grounded in empathy.
