I am a very passionate Geologist and have enjoyed every move and challenge in my professional career by achieving expected results and providing high quality work performance. Being responsible for the operational execution of numerous exploration programs for Rio Tinto Coal Australia, I always utilise my full commitment as a project leader and strive for a zero harm team culture, technical success and efficient work practice. Developing an exploration project, forming a team and coordinating the operations are my key strengths. Compiling and evaluating collected data, generating a model and handing over exceptional results to stakeholder round off my job satisfaction. My particular interest in geochemistry and experience in various commodities in Germany, Namibia and Australia enable me to contribute to the current target generation for coal, strategic metals and minerals.

My PhD project dealt with lithium occurrences and the recovery of lithium from Greisen rocks. It comprised the analyses of samples with the Mineral Liberation Analyzer (MLA) investigating the progress of lithium recovery and the optimisation of MLA methods for this specific project. Additional responsibilities include teaching modules, conducting field trips for students and preparation of polished thin sections and grain-samples.
