Global Procurement Manager responsible for the acquisition of the entire line of Petrochemical and Renewable Derivatives, with products such as N-Butanol, N-Propanol, Sodium Metabisulfite, Phenol, Nonene, Acetic Acid, ITDA, Methanol, LAB, Propylene Oxide, Bisphenol A, Mineral Oils, Palm Kernel Oil (PKO), Fatty Amines, Amine Oxide, Ethanol, Fusel Oil, Soy Oil, Castor Oil, Fatty Alcohols, Fatty Acids, etc to ensure the supply with the best commercial conditions and give competitiveness to Oxiteno's busines such as Home & Personal Care, Crop Solutions, Coatings, Oil & Gas and Performance Products. Direct responsibility for the acquisition of $250 million and responsible for the global procurement strategy of these raw materials to supply production in 12 plants distributed in 3 regions, Mercosur, MAC and US. With 11 people reporting directly to me in different hierarchical levels being Specialists, Buyers, Analysts and Assistants. In addition to the aforementioned purchases, I am also responsible for all Innovation Projects in the Procurement area where we work together with the PMO, Technology Marketing and Product teams to ensure the development of new raw materials to support the development of new products of Oxiteno.

In addition to my current role as Senior Regional Category Manager for Direct Materials in Latin America, I'm also assuming the role of Procurement Manager South America. In this new role, I'm maintaining the management of purchases of raw materials in Latin America, but I will also manage the purchasing teams for Indirect, Logistics and Packaging categories for South America.

Senior Regional Category Manager for Latin America, responsible for managing a team of buyers to purchase raw materials with an approximate spend of US$150MM, divided between 7 plants in 5 countries (Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and Argentina). I'm also responsible for ensuring that all global strategies, especially savings and KPIs, are implemented, reaching the goals established for LATAM subdivided by country, category of purchases and responsible buyer. Assist in the professional development of each buyer or assistant of the area of purchases always seeking the personal satisfaction and guaranteeing the improvement in the performance of the Procurement area.

In addition to my previous role as Regional Category Manager for Monomeros and Resins, as of December 2015 I also assume as Procurement Supervisor Brazil responsible for leading other two regional raw material buyers and a total spend of US$ 100MM in the country, besides to ensure that all targets, regional and global like savings, KPIs, etc. will be achieved.

From 2009 to 2011 I was leading the purchasing accounts of Pigments and Additives for Latin America developing the strategy, negotiations and supply of more than 200 different types of raw materials from multiple vendors, national and international that presents a 30 million dollars in annual spend. In 2011 I have been moved to the Monomers and Resins account which I have responsibility for a turnover of approximately 38 million dollars. This is an account with market dynamics totally different, much more volatile and dependent on petroleum and natural gas derivative. I am part of global teams of these two commodities where we have frequent discussions to define strategies for raw materials purchasing, toll manufacturing, development of new suppliers, etc..

Buyer responsible for negotiating these 3 commodities in Latin America. Creation and implementation of electronic bidding and direct negotiations with suppliers in Brazil and abroad. Implementation of global agreements for activities in Latin America. Development and approval of new suppliers to reduce single source dependence. Participation in global meetings via conference and face to face.

Responsible to request, analyse and make comparisons of raw material proposals for production of automotive paints. Responsible to keep all reports and presentations updated. Issue and follow up of purchase orders, domestic and imported using SAP system.

Give support to the import and export processes of raw materials, intermediates and finished products for automotive and industrial paints. Process monitoring (follow-up) and clearance of goods
