Built a custom USB virtual communication port, based on STM32F407 board, that processes and responds to queries through the USB port. Built a custom bootloader for firmware upgrade on STM32F407 board. The bootloader jumps to the application available in the flash memory on startup. If an application is not available, it waits to receive the firmware file via USB or UART. Once received, it writes the file to flash using the X-MODEM CRC protocol. Designed a GUI PC application for the same using Python. Developed an Ethernet to UART converter on the Wiznet WizWiki W7500 board, that responds to queries on both the Ethernet and UART ports and allows for communication between the two. Added SPI functionality to an existing product line. Created a SPI channel to pass parameter values from NXP LPC1769 to ic-TW8 and modify the encoder offset values. Added a command for the same.
