Austrian Economist - Investor and Author. My first book "RIP USD: 1971 - 202X ...and the Way Forward" was published in June 2024. Before this, I have written in several International publications about Free Markets and the deleterious effects of Central Banks' intervention in the markets by maintaining an artificially low interest rate regime. The book starts from the basics of money, interest rates, and inflation to explain the imminent threat to the purchasing power of the US Dollar. I conclude that gold is likely to replace the US Dollar as the world's Reserve Asset before the end of the current decade. Background - I obtained my Engg education from IIT and MBA from IIM in India. Post my college education, I worked as part of Infosys Technologies (NASDAQ: INFY) in more than 10 countries including US, UK, Germany and Switzerland.
