• Built multi-video support for Events: PiP, state persistence, cross-navigation resume. • Led Events annotations (markdown, cross-team coordination). • Doubled unit test coverage; drove accessibility focus.

• Drove development of Flipboard's industry-leading ad products. • Worked with product team to improve processes so that we can iterate faster. • Led development of Apple Watch app, Today Extension, and Notification Content Extension. • Paved the way for a "Core" UI and functionality framework that can be used for new targets and apps in the future. • Collaborated with QA team on improving our testing process so to narrow down issues early in development cycle. • Added Jenkins support for UI automation testing. • Greatly improved accessibility through VoiceOver so that visually-impaired users can enjoy the content available on Flipboard. • Enjoyed using Instruments to pinpoint a number of performance, power consumption and animation bugs. • As one of only two team members for about six months, I honed a number of skills including multitasking and communication.

• Prototyped eCommerce iOS and Android apps to explore potential benefits for company clients over existing websites. • Built mobile websites for clients to specification while also providing UI/UX insights.

One of 25 students from around the world to be invited for a week long development session. This consisted of designing and building an iOS application of choice and showcasing it after 4 days of work. Furthermore, Apple engineers provided a significant amount of insight into various platform frameworks and tools, greatly improving my skill set.

Prototyped internal iOS app to assist with conference room booking.

• Courses covered an array of subjects, from functional programming in Haskell, computer architecture and operating system design in the first part of the degree to user interface design and project management later on. • For my final year paper, I built an iOS application that aided hikers of the London Loop. Focus was put on map-based navigation, social interaction features for fellow hikers and accessibility features. The project also involved learning how to build a scalable backend service so that multiple users could be served at any one time.
