For over two decades, Sasha DeCania, LMFT, has been shaping the future of mental health care—creating innovative treatment programs, mentoring the next generation of clinicians, and leading high-performing teams across outpatient, residential, and intensive treatment settings. With extensive experience spanning clinical care, operations, and business strategy, she has treated thousands of individuals facing complex mental health challenges, including mood disorders, trauma, co-occurring disorders, and more. As a clinical strategist and industry innovator, Sasha focuses on revolutionizing how mental health care is delivered. Therapy shouldn’t be limited to an office visit or a telehealth call—it should meet people where they are. Whether through technology, apps, games, or entirely new platforms, her mission is to integrate mental health into industries beyond traditional care models, increasing engagement and improving quality of life on a larger scale. A respected clinical leader, Sasha has designed and implemented programs for behavioral health organizations across the Las Vegas Valley, in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, earning recognition as a Women of Distinction in Health Care from the National Association for Women Business Owners (2018). Currently, she proudly serves on the Board of Trustees for Creative Solutions for Positive Youth Development, a nonprofit collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada, which seeks to bring accessible treatment options to young people in the Las Vegas Valley. As a former adjunct faculty member at UNLV, she continues to educate and advocate, guest lecturing on behavioral health topics and providing expert analysis for major media outlets. Since 2014, she has served as an Approved Supervisor for Marriage and Family Therapists and Certified Professional Counselor Interns in Nevada, guiding the next generation of mental health professionals.
