* HotHive Textiles was a directory site containing contact details for anyone connected to the textile industry. I was responsible for ensuring that the details listed were up to date and also writing content for the site and promoting it within the industry. Specific responsibilities included: * Writing content and articles for the website so that it was updated on a daily basis * Writing and sending out monthly newsletters * Organising book and product reviews * Working with the sales team to develop content and articles that provided advertising opportunities alongside * Promoting the website through social media, such as Facebook and relevant forums * Producing press releases * Organising events and competitions that would raise the profile of the website

* The HotHive was an independent publishing company, specialising in non-fiction titles, specifically business and mind body spirit titles. During my time at the HotHive I have worked on over 30 titles, from receipt of manuscript through to delivery of printed books. I learnt many skills including: * Managing production schedules * Managing budgets * Managing suppliers, including designers, typesetters and copy editors * Print buying * Author liaison * Proofreading * Time management
