I am a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a strong foundation in physics, mathematics, project management, and hands-on technical skills. Through my academic coursework, I have developed interests in manufacturing, thermodynamics, materials science, and system design. I am passionate about sustainability and the role engineering plays in developing environmentally responsible solutions to complex challenges. I enjoy exploring projects focused on energy optimization and sustainable systems, and I am eager to apply my skills toward advancing technologies that serve both consumers and the environment. I am currently seeking opportunities to gain industry experience where I can contribute meaningfully, expand my skill set, and learn from experienced professionals.

A big part of my role as a counselor was teaching children about the environment and how to interact with it, including topics such as local ecosystems and conservation principles. This involved leading nature walks, but also things as simple as stopping and letting them admire the world around them. I also taught them how Survival Skills: Providing practical lessons on survival skills, such as building shelters and navigation in the wilderness. Elements is a program that emphasizes the importance of reducing screen time and promoting the benefits of outdoor exploration for mental and physical well-being. And while the program aims to inform kids about the outdoors and how to get the most out of them, it's main goal is for the children to engage their senses and and most importantly have fun in the natural world around them.
