AAH is the healthcare investment arm of Waha Capital’s private equity division. AAH delivers healthcare services throughout the UAE, owning and operating more than twenty-five business assets and serving more than 800,000 registered patients. Joined AAH at the start-up phase and was instrumental throughout acquisitions, establishment of greenfield projects, and execution of exit strategies. A focal point between shareholders and the business assets ensuring investments are safeguarded with an emphasis on value creation. Significant achievements: ▪ Spearheaded group-wide cost saving initiatives which resulted in the successful reduction of operating costs by 10% ▪ Developed 5-year forecasts, annual plans, and financial forecasts ▪ Improved the accuracy of financial reporting and brought forward monthly reporting timelines from 14 to 5 days ▪ Played a key role in successfully exiting one of the biggest private standalone laboratory groups in the UAE ▪ Managed the cash flow during the pandemic and closely tracked greenfield projects to facilitate cash flow break-even within committed timelines

Directed and managed the Finance team ensuring daily operations are completed including the pre-close preparation and the post-close review of profit and loss accounts, balance sheet accounts, and reconciliations. Significant achievements: ▪ Optimized the cash conversion cycle by reducing the DSO from 40 to 27 days, which was a record in receivables turnover for the organization ▪ Built a sound governance foundation by ensuring effective and robust internal controls are in place to minimize the risk of fraud and error ▪ Ensured full compliance of accounting policies with US GAAP and Mars accounting policies ▪ Tracked credit controllers diligently with a credit control framework to ensure healthy, non-toxic receivables on the company’s balance sheet ▪ First point of contact for the auditors.
