• Assisting in UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) photogrammetry and/or LiDAR data collection. • Processing the collected photogrammetry data from the UAV flights in photogrammetry software such as Agisoft Metashape to produce 3D point cloud models and creating ortho imagery. • Using tools such as rasterio in python, GDAL or ArcGIS Pro for image processing. • Post-processing and calibrating the collected LiDAR data using Beamworx software such as NavQ and AutoPatch. • Classifying LiDAR points (automatic and/or manual), extracting ground point using tools such as Beamworx’s Autoclean or Trimble Business Centre • Deriving elevation models from the processed LiDAR. • Carrying out LiDAR data manipulation and management using licensed software such as Beamworkx products or Trimble Business Centre or using open-source tools such as pdal in python, FUSION, lidR in R. • Meticulously reviewing the edited LIDAR to confirm that subcontractor work was completed in accordance with the project specifications and that there aren’t any errors in the data.

• Performing Post-Processing for the data-collecting flight trajectories using GPS base stations, PPP or other corrections methods to produce the smoothed best estimate to trajectory and relate it to specific sensors. • Carefully reviewing and assessing the aerial triangulation report, identifying any blunders, systematic errors or anomalies. • Generating thorough and complete georeferenced LAS files using the correct software settings for the sensor and navigation information. • Accurately segmenting the point cloud into the tiles specified in the project requirements. • Classifying LiDAR through automatic/semi-automatic methods by using LAStools and through manual methods by using software such Global Mapper and MARS. • Efficiently using GDAL/PDAL, FUSION, R, Python and other geospatial and lidar packages for data extraction, data manipulation and data organization. Producing batch scripts and python scripts for the efficient workflow of the projects. • Producing LiDAR generated products such as DEM, DSM and CHM and doing quality checks. • Creating ortho-mosaic of the Photo/Imagery collected with LiDAR. • Conducting quality control checks, ensuring photo data had no qualitative errors or issues. I acquired hands-on experience in the following applied fields of LiDAR. • Wide-Area Mapping • Powerline Corridor Monitoring • Forestry Inventory Management (Stand Delineation, Canopy Closure Calculations, Tree Crown Mapping, Wet Area Mapping, Watershed Delineation, Transportation Network Mapping)
