Executive Director, Sudbury Valley Trustees (SVT), Sudbury, Massachusetts, a land conservation organization serving the area west of Boston. Increased net assets from to $3.8 million to $5.1 million. Increased annual contributions from $581,000 to $930,000. Secured conservation of 1,593 acres of land, usually in collaboration with others. • Responsible to the Board of Directors for efficient and effective performance of the organization’s mission • Supervise staff of nine; effective recruitment and coordination of volunteers • Lead fundraising efforts; solicit gifts and bequests • Prepare budgets and manage financial reporting on all aspects of SVT’s operations • Represent the organization to the public through writing and presentations; develop and sustain relationships with key funders and community leaders • Oversee management of twenty reservations open to the public • Implement policies of the Board with respect to finances, land transactions, and programs.

• Project manager for Teaching Every Student web site, Model Classrooms project, Network Learning Center, CAST eTrekker, and the science simulation Animal Adaptations Lab. • Managed the successful $2.5 million federal grant proposal that made CAST the National Center on Accessing the General Curriculum.

• Content developer, animator, interactive educational activity designer, and photographer for Discoveries CD-ROMs. • Led courses in Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Director for the design department.

• Teacher of math and science to grades 4, 5, and 6 at the Charles River School, Dover, Massachusetts, 1989 – 1991. • Director of YMCA Camp Lawrence, Meredith, New Hampshire, 1992 – 1993. Increased camp enrollment and coordinated American Camping Association accreditation process. • Teacher of English, math, science, and history to grades 6 - 8 at Eliot Montessori School, Natick, Massachusetts, 1982 – 1988. • Director, Green Acres Day Camp, 1981 – 1987. Hired and supervised staff of sixty. • Outdoor Educator Unit leader at the Houston Independent School District's Outdoor Education Center in Trinity, Texas, 1978 – 1980. African-American, Mexican-American, and white fifth graders were integrated for a week of experiential education.

• Produced thirty-eight short animated films for Education Development Center’s Infinity Factory, a math show distributed by the Public Broadcasting System, and for WCVB-TV’s Jabberwocky, a theme-based children’s program. • Independently produced two longer films, Hank the Cave Peanut and Captain Silas, and marketed them to schools and libraries. Captain Silas received the gold medal for animation at the Virgin Islands Film Festival in 1977.
