Rodney was engaged to provide both strategic and operational advice on preparing the business for trade sale and creating a franchise model for future expansions. The successful outcome of the Exit Strategy Program resulted in the divestiture of key elements of the organisation, significantly reducing operational costs while at the same time identifying and implementing sales strategies resulting in a 27% increase in sales over a 10 month period. Rodney created and implemented the Community Rebate Program which generated significant income for both the company and local community organisations and significantly raising the company's profile.

Established the Project Management Office (PMO) for Stocklands Siebel 7 implementation, an $11.5m investment pursuing the single customer view. Managed resourcing and developed all project operational components, processes and disciplines required for 30+ development team.

Franchise IT Model Development & Deployment Project Managed the creation and implementation of RAMS Home Loans new IT infrastructure supporting 43 franchises nationally. This was RAMS fourth attempt at deploying a franchise IT Model so franchisor credibility was at stake. I was responsibile for negotiating supplier contracts, Service Level Agreements and customer engagement models – Project delivered on time and within project tolerances.

QBE Insurance – National IT Infrastructure Conversion Project Project managed a technically complex national Lotus Notes migration project, consisting of 3,500 email accounts and 180 databases off 27 remotely located servers, to one central IBM AIX Cluster. The project saved QBE IT $1.5M/pa in real and operational costs and was delivered under the $1.8M budget. QBE Insurance – Voice Infrastructure Replacement Project Project managed the replacement of PABX, Voicemail and UPS systems for QBE Head Office. Thirteen floors, 800 staff trained, 900 handsets replaced, 5 kilometres of wiring laid, PABX programmed and installed all in one weekend. The project was delivered on time, under budget and with no business downtime.
