As Group HR Manager, I support the Chief People Officer in leading the HR function across seven territories, driving key areas such as Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Workforce Planning, Organizational Design, and People Experience and Culture. I take an agile, people-centric approach to align HR initiatives with business strategy, ensuring a high-performance, engaged workforce. In this role, I oversee end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition, fostering diverse and inclusive hiring practices while building strong talent pipelines. I spearhead leadership development and comprehensive training programs, supporting employee growth and capability building at all levels. I work closely with the C-Suite and country leadership to streamline organizational design, manage key change initiatives, and implement new systems and processes for continuous improvement. As Learning and Development Manager at ST Malta, I led the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while managing a comprehensive Learning and Development function and driving People Experience initiatives. I supported recruitment and talent acquisition, partnering with managers to design roles and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new employees. In this role, I developed and implemented competency frameworks, leadership training, and certification programs, ensuring the workforce was equipped with future-ready skills. I championed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and fostered a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and wellbeing. I also managed organizational transformation projects, including process automation and digital system integration. Through career coaching, team building, and STEM initiatives, I helped employees grow professionally while contributing to the organization's long-term vision and community engagement efforts.

As an L&D Specialist, I handle the learning and professional development of all employees within the company, meeting the organisation's needs while helping the L&D department reach its key strategic objectives in ensuring high-quality training and career development for all our employees. My main responsibilities in this role are: „ Carrying out the Learning Needs Analysis during the last portion of the year in order to design the training planner for the following year. This helps to fill in the skill gaps identified during the year while also upskilling our workforce in the meantime. „ Planning and organization of training sessions with internal as well as external trainers. This includes gathering training evaluation and feedback after the delivery of training. „ Designing and delivering various training sessions for new and existing employees. Courses I have designed and delivered include: Project Management and Technical Report Writing „ Coordinate employee certification – working with and coaching the training team in order to ensure that operator and technician certification runs smoothly, since this is of paramount importance for the smooth running of the shopfloor and production. „ Engaging the team in various L&D projects „ Facilitating Development Plan Reviews with all employees holding management job grades and their managers in order to review their progress on their development plans and update these plans for the future. „ Manage all internal training systems.
