Thuridion is a software development firm specializing in web application development, custom website development, and technology consulting. My responsibilities were to manage the engineering group, oversee the project portfolio, drive business development, prepare client presentations and proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors.

Digital Exchange Systems (Dexsi) developed a B2B online auction site for the wholesale grocery industry where large grocery chains and distributors could anonymously buy and sell truck loads of products online. The company provided the marketplace, the logistics and the financing. Dexsi, together with its partner companies, had over $500M in annual revenues. I led the design, development, and deployment efforts to build the auction site and built the technology infrastructure group for the organization. I oversaw all aspects of each phase of the development process to ensure successful launch, integrated legacy mainframe systems and incorporated EDI capabilities in the web-based inventory and purchasing management systems.

Remit.net provided an online payment platform for e-commerce sites. Understanding the difficulty in connecting e-commerce sites to payment processors, Remit.net bridged this gap by providing a turnkey processing engine and a maintenance site to review transaction history and maintain account information. My role was to build and manage the technology group and all of the company's intellectual property.

Cohesive Technology Solutions was an early pioneer in the web application development, specializing in web site, e-commerce, intranet, and extranet development. They provided a complete solution offering network design and configuration services, maintenance contracts, and application development. My role was to provide project management, software development, and business development expertise.

Sterling Software provided packaged software to Fortune 1000 companies. Their product lines included Storage Management Software, EDI software, Security Management Software, and Enterprise Systems Management.

Led team of video encoders and content producers that developed DMGI's video vault. Developed video content packagers to build content and metadata packages for delivery to clients, including YouTube, iTunes, Amazon, NetFlix, Joost, Helio, and MobiTV.

Responsible for the ingestion, management, and distribution of audio and video content at MySpace and MySpace Music. Technology owner of the second largest premium video and UGV online property in the world, with over 400M monthly video views (comscore). Responsible for the successful presentation, delivery, and consumption of video content on and off main website, serving over 55M unique users monthly(comscore). Managed teams that developed front-end and API layers of the web site. Worked with all groups involved in the application stack to insure delivery of video content, including content upload and ingest, data development, caching, content storage, advertising, QA, infrastructure, analytics, and network operations. Responsible for uptime of the production application, consisting of over 100 servers spanning two virtual networks.
