I'm one of the few people in America to have successfully devolved and built a fully operational plant converting tires into heating oil/diesel and other products, recycling 99.9% of the tire.

I teamed up with Utah State University assisting with their summer theater program in England, working as an actor with the students putting together and performing a period plays.

I would welcome passengers reassuring any concerns so they felt relaxed, explaining their involvement in the process and talking about safety. After a briefing from the pilot I’d then assign different jobs to the passengers to assist with inflating the envelope, when the balloon was upright I’d over see the safe boarding of the passengers. Once in the air I’d lead the ground crew following the balloon until it landed then locate the owner of the land (most often a farmer) and being very diplomatic persuade him to allow us access to retrieve our balloon. I would also be responsible for turning the balloon around for the next flight which included refueling and general maintenance.

I worked teaching people who had never dived before all the way up to dive leaders covering aspects of physics, physiology, health & safety, leadership, dive management and equipment. I would also teach S&R disaster scenarios combined with medical emergencies awarding a recognized medical qualification for graduating students. A skill I developed is the ability to take someone fearful of the water (normally the partner of someone who already dives) and get them to overcome their fear allowing them to see how powerful they are.
