About

After graduating from the School of Church Music in Singapore Bible College, I worked as the Anglican Diocese Music Director in Sabah for 2 years, before serving as a full-time missionary in Thailand from 1994 to 2006. Since relocating to Singapore, I taught piano, and conducted Kinder Beat and Encore On Keys enrichment classes in the local kindergartens. Music Matters was eventually founded in 2010, a platform for the distribution of music materials and teachers training. In 2017, In collaboration with Encore Music Education in Australia, Music Matters started an online music competition for Singapore teachers called "Are you an Encore Star?" which has now grown into an international competition involving participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong Australia, and Singapore. I passionately believe that the future in music education lies in being able to create new things as we go, harnessing a life long love for learning as educators, growing professional and personally as confident individuals. www.musicmatters.sg www.encoremusiceducation.com.au

I’m so thrilled to be part of the Boogie Mites family. As a music educator here in Singapore, I’ve always believed that Music Matters when it comes to cognitive and brain development in children. Boogie Mites offer a fantastic array of program starting from babies to school ready children, including programs that is designed to teach the English language as well as math concepts.
