I work on Nucoin, one of Nubank’s most visible and large-scale projects, reaching millions of customers. Our team is fully senior and includes both engineers and product professionals working side by side, with direct communication and shared ownership of features from design to delivery. - Flash Sale: played a key role in building and improving this mechanic, which handles hundreds of thousands of concurrent users. The system requires careful attention to atomicity, idempotency, and consistency, using Kafka, Redis, and DynamoDB to support massive scale and concurrency. - ESG Experiences: helped create a mechanic that allows users to exchange Nucoins for real-world experiences, such as O Mundo Pixar and Inhotim, adding new layers of engagement and brand connection. - Automation: developed internal scripts that reduced repetitive work for the engineering team. One example was a tool for creating and configuring chests, cutting setup time from 40 minutes to 40 seconds. - Metrics and observability: contributed to building and analyzing detailed metrics, improving visibility and reliability across our systems. - Team impact: quickly earned the team’s trust by delivering results early and helping streamline processes. From the first months, I was able to add value through reliable and well-structured solutions to high-scale challenges.

In the company, I worked diligently, adding value to both my team and our products. Some of my key responsibilities included: - Designing scalable, monitorable, and resilient solutions; - Implementing microservices in Golang with a test coverage exceeding 90%; - Using data structures to devise abstract rules that cater to different data inputs; - Developing abstract history systems for microservices using non-relational databases and messaging; - Performing numerous integrations into our systems, employing cache and resilience strategies; - Creating log systems focused on monitoring and developing metric dashboards in Grafana; - Training the team on software architecture, best practices, and automated testing through lectures. One of the biggest impacts I've made in recent months that I would like to highlight is the creation of a Low Code platform from scratch. I identified a problem that required months of development periodically, and I proposed and developed a platform from the ground up to resolve it in a matter of minutes. My main responsibilities in this project were: Leading meetings about the platform to justify the investment of time in a complex solution; Architecting the solution at all levels, including front-end, back-end, and infrastructure; Developing the back-end of the platform in Golang: designing the API, designing the database, creating migrations, utilizing data structures and algorithms techniques such as recursion, etc.; Developing the front-end of the platform in React: creating microfrontends, applying componentization, creating hooks, etc.; Holding constant meetings in Spanish with clients of the platform; Taking a leading role and exercising autonomy, dedicating 100% of my time to the Low Code platform I proposed, considering its potential within the company.
